It's easy to get started on your iBeacon tour!

Here's how we did it:

We started by going to www.locly.com and signing up for a free account.

First we created a project:

Next, we uploaded some content for our Places. Each Place was assigned to an iBeacon, which marks a physical location.

We placed our iBeacons in the desired locations.

Students downloaded the free Locly Sandbox app on their iPhones or iPads. The app notified them when they were near an iBeacon.

Since we completed our project, Locly Sandbox has been discontinued. There are other apps which will do the same task, including Locly Native.
